What is life coaching?

Life Coaching is a conversation between a coach and a client, where the coach assists the client to get clarity around an aspect of their life.

The coach guides the client to overcome obstacles or road blocks towards the clients goals. The coach brainstorms, supports, guides and ultimately holds the client accountable towards the achievement of the goal.

Coaching can assist with overcoming fears, breaking through limiting beliefs, achieving goals, improving relationships, improving health, creating a change and driving results within business.

How does life coaching work?

Coaching is not about solving problems; it is about changing the thinking that creates problems in the first place.

Life coaching is different from therapy; as a coach, you focus on what can be improved, what can change and how to achieve goals. Rather than focussing on problems, you offer your client a way to create a solution for the future.

It isn’t therapy. We’re not looking to diagnose and fix clients, it’s nothing like that. It’s absolutely a relationship where you’re going to be arm in arm next to walk with you.

We can suggest the pitfalls and point out where perhaps you’re going off the track, and help guide you to a territory, where it’s going to be rich and fertile with opportunities for what you want to experience.

Are there any prerequisites for enrolling in a life coach training course?

There are typically no formal prerequisites for enrolling in a life coaching course. However, it’s essential to have a genuine passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to personal growth and development.

Some life coach courses may require an introductory session or a basic understanding of coaching principles, so it’s essential to review each course’s specific requirements.
